Fish On! Guiding here at keystone today the catfish is real popular. Today was real busy. Such beautiful weather for mid winter and the catfish was munching. We actually did good on all three stops some cut and some whole bait, fishing 30 to 34ft of water. Water temps is coming on up to about 46 at the surface but you can tell it’s still pretty chilly down deep because the bait and fish are still moving slow. The rain has brought the water up about a foot maybe more but nothing is muddy. Everything is just great. We needed it. We boated 40 of them today and we had a two-man limit for the customers to send home which is about 6 1/2 gallons of meat out big fish was 14 pounds. And bigger fish was biting a little better today it was just fine as usual.

Fish On! Back to keystone today for a repeat customer. Thanks Mark for coming back and bringing a friend. Sonar is showing a lot of fish right now mixed bag of carp, spoonbill, catfish, and gar so i’ve been mainly fishing structure using charts and rod and reels to find the fish which takes a little time but works just fine. We boated 38 fish today didn’t keep ‘em all and our big fish was 12lb followed by a couple 10’s bait is moving slow and easy to catch same as it has been. Whole shad was working good for bigger fish. Didn’t note water temp but it’s a beautiful day.

Fish On! Keystone lake again today with Allen and his crew they know how to keep the jokes rolling we had a good time. Started off on some decent fish just had to wait them out and we moved a few times then went to far and ended up on a slow spot. We released most of the fish today and kept some 4 to 6lb for food. These cold water catfish are some the best eating fish in our opinion. I’m going to continue to work and and find new fish patterns. They’re not stuck to the bait like they was a month ago i’ve mostly been fishing structure along the edges of the old river channel. 30ft didn’t do much for us today we had to be out 35 or better. We caught 37 fish and cleaned 13 and our big fish was 24.5 lbs if i remember correct. Similar to yesterday and a can’t complain kind of day

Fish On at Keystone! Got to get out today, checked out most of the lake. I’ve noticed diminishing bait levels as the winter progresses, I didn’t see much on the north leg, noticed cowskin was still frozen and water low, Nice schools of spoonbill up that leg. I settled near where i caught my bait towards mannford and caught our fish near there as well. We caught fish at 32ft 21ft and 15ft and seemed pretty much the same at all locations. Water temps 39/40.

Fish On! Can check out current reports, lake conditions and use booking feature at fishonok.com or call 9187246786, I had Scott and his wife out on Keystone lake today to check out the catfish. It was a one stop shop for us easily acquiring a 2 man limit for the cooler and releasing another 16 the headed in early to clean fish and had 9 gallons of fillets to send home. That’s about 100lbs of fillets so bear in mind the value of these trips is unbeatable. Not just paying for fun your paying for meat! I was fishing 30 feet of water today using some cut shad and whole shad. It’s been good, the kind of good most people would have to drive out of state to experience, so come on down let’s book one!
