Fish On at Sooner lake today. Guided a single party on some saugeye fishing. We caught 37 of those on shallow structure 15 to 25ft deep also caught big drum, hybrids, and LMB up to 5lbs. Should have got more photos but we were pretty busy. Managed a nice limit of fish for him. Our big saugeye slipped the hook and it was a good one sunk that rod tip right into the lake. Got a good look at it and a hook spit at my face lol. Lots of catch and release and had to carefully measure more than a few. Had a good time catching fish and figuring out what will work.
Fish On Skiatook! Started a little later than usual due to the rain. Fish are hard to find but they’ll bite if you can get a hint any is around. We caught fish on the 1st and 3rd stop a few sandbass in between fell short of a limit but had that many bite at least, Big trophy size not a nonstop frenzy by any means. It’s been more of a trophy oriented thing for me this time of year last couple years. Thanks Shawn for organizing the trip and sending me out with such fun people! We had a fun memorable day! Got openings in June. I’ll be doing trips to skiatook, sooner and keystone for now covering a variety of species so just give me a shout. Fish On at Keystone! thanks Leon for your support and good times today. Whole lotta smiles today i guarantee ya that. We got our Limit and threw a bunch back. Cut shad seemed best fishing shallow water. It’s been GOOD as it can get. Water temps in the low 70’s shad has been fairly difficult to catch they’re pretty frisky at this point.
